The Digital Officer, a new and exciting position within D’Ieteren, will be working directly for the Customer Experience & Digital Manager (8 FTE in the Digital team) within the new CRM & Digital Department. The objective of the role is to:

  • Initiate and drive cross-brand strategic digital and customer experience projects & initiatives
  • Contribute in bringing the quality, performance, ROI of our digital assets to a best-in-class level
  • Act as business owner for selected digital assets
  • Bring digital expertise to actively support brand teams with their digital projects and assets (Audi, VW, CVI, My Way, Wondercar, Skoda, Seat, Porsche, …)

Key responsibilities

Project Manager & Business Owner for (cross-brand) digital assets and initiatives

  • Prospective/pro-activity : Define new opportunities and initiate and lead strategic & tactical central digital projects & initiatives
  • Project Management : End to end project manager, capturing, harmonising and prioritising business needs (across brands), leading the project and acting as a SPOC for all stakeholders (brands, IT, agencies, …)
  • Product Ownership : Own, steer and continuously improve selected cross-brand digital assets & initiatives after go-live (e.g. conversion rate optimization, new functionalities, digital processes & tools,…)
  • Organization & Methodology : Define, together with the central teams, IT and partners, the core digital (asset management) processes, standards, toolboxes and trainings (eg webmastering, web development, CRO, SEO, …)
  • Knowledge sharing: digital (assets), CRO & project management best practice sharing and creation of toolkits for central & brand teams

Internal digital consultant

  • Advise (and partner with) brand teams and challenge agencies on customer experience and digital asset strategy, planning and execution to enable D’Ieteren to become best-in-class
  • Act as a digital consultant & asset specialist/expert for the brands on their initiatives
  • Act as a digital project manager on selected brand initiatives

Qualifications :

  • Obsessed with digital journey/ digital assets and their optimization
  • Bachelor or Master degree in a discipline related to marketing, digital or IT
  • Minimum 4 years successful experience as a project manager, consultant, digital asset manager, developer or webmaster
  • Superior (agile) project management skills with strong, proven track record in managing complex, cross-department projects with a focus on delivery
  • Excellent general digital skills (digital consumer behavior, web mastering, web development, measurement, content creation), able to challenge internal users, manufacturers and agencies/ partners
  • Great knowledge of the different digital assets (websites, apps, online to store, in-store digital, chatbot, …) and how they interact
  • Ideally proven experience in conversion rate optimization
  • Data driven mindset and knowledge of common web analytics tools
  • Outstanding conceptual thinking, analytical & problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with demonstrated success in creating real impact within a networked, cross organizational environment
  • Outstanding verbal, written and visual communications skills in French and/or Dutch (with minimum conversational level for both) + English at a business level; able to interact with all levels in the organization, manufacturers and partners
