Talent Manager

You will report to the Leadership Development Manager.

D’Ieteren Auto started a new transformation journey: the Mobility 2025. At the heart of this journey, developing best talent is key. The Talent Manager will be responsible for processes related to Talent Development, Succession Plans, Individual Development, Performance Management and Career Model.


Talent & Succession Plan
Talent Manager is accountable for all processes regarding the Talent & Succession Cycle, aligned with Corporate strategy. This includes:

  • Identify key functions
  • Develop Succession Plans for key function
  • Identify & develop Talent Pool within the organisation
  • Organise Talent Reviews to calibrate Talent populations
  • Liaison with HR Business Partner for all follow-up of action plans
  • Liaison with L&D to develop transversal programs to develop talent population

Individual Development
Each Line Manager is the first line Talent Manager for his/her employees. The Talent Manager supports the individual development :

  • Establish assessment and development centers (AC/DC) process, organize feedback sessions after AC/DC, and set-up Personal Development Plan (PDP) together with employee when required
  • Organize (external) coaching and mentoring activities
  • Liaise with Learning & Development for all other development needs

Performance Management
The Talent Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and follow-up of the performance management cycle, aligned with values and key competences, and in collaboration with HR Business Partners.

Career Model
In collaboration with HR Business Partners and with the Compensation & Benefits Manager, the Talent Manager is responsible for:

  • the consistency of the D’Ieteren Career Model
  • the calibration of new roles

The Talent Manager is also responsible for the following:

  • Develop & implement Talent strategy within the organization, based on Corporate strategy
  • Own of all Talent processes
  • Develop toolboxes and support HR Business Partners for Talent matters
